Rabbi Schneider - The Chaos of Rebellion
Today I want to talk with you about the fact that the essence of what we're experiencing in the earth today is the result of the chaos of evil. What you and I are experiencing right now in the planet is an expression of the chaos of evil. Evil in essence is chaos. You see, the devil rebelled against God's order. God has an order in heaven. He is the King of kings and Lord of lords, and everything needs to be submitted to His authority, to His order. Satan didn't want to do that. He rebelled against God's authority. He rebelled against God's order. And in so doing, he was cast down to the earth and wreaked complete chaos and destruction upon the planet.
I'm going to bring you through a series of slides and videos putting an exclamation mark on what is happening in the earth right now that tell us how close the return of the Lord is, which should wake us up to recognize that we are living in a preparatory period to face Yeshua, and it very well could be in our lifetime, and we need to live like it will be. The angels proclaimed it as Yeshua was being lifted up off the ground at the Mount of Olives by the Ruach HaKadosh, by the Spirit of God and the disciples watched Him ascending into the air.
Can you imagine? They were standing with Yeshua and all of a sudden... He began to ascend off the ground. He began to rise higher and higher and higher. They began look up in awe, transfixed. He eventually disappeared into the clouds. And when He disappeared into the clouds, the angels spoke, and this is what happened. "And after He said these things," Yeshua speaking there, "after Yeshua said these things, He was lifted up while they (the disciples) were looking on, and a cloud received him out of their sight. And as they were gazing intently into the sky while he was going, behold, two men in white clothing stood beside them. They said, 'Men of Galilee, why do you stand looking into the sky? This Yeshua, this Jesus, who has been taken up from you into heaven, will come in just the same way as you have watched him go into heaven.'"
Amen. Blessed be the name of the Lord. Please be seated. The angels proclaimed it. The apostles proclaimed it. 1 Thessalonians 5:1-3, "Now as to the times and the epochs, brethren," Paul is speaking, "you have no need of anything to be written to you. For you yourselves know full well that the day of the Lord will come just like a thief in the night. While they are saying, 'Peace and safety!' then destruction will come upon them suddenly like labor pains upon a woman with child, and they will not escape".
Judgment is about to fall on the earth. But you, brethren, you and I, we're not in the darkness. We're not clueless. We're not walking around in some deception, some false spirituality. We're not trying to save the whales while we're murdering children. We're the children of God. We're watching what's going on. We're not ignorant of the signs of the times. We see the signs of the times pointing to Yeshua. And so Paul says, "But you, brethren, are not in the darkness, that the day of the Lord would overtake you like a thief in the night. You are all sons of light and sons of day. We are not of night nor of darkness; so then let us not sleep as others do, but let us be alert and sober".
Peter repeats the same warning. "Know this first of all, that in the last days mockers will come, following after their own lusts, and saying, 'Where's the promise of His...' I mean isn't that what we're dealing with today? We're dealing with people they are have pushed... I know I'm preaching to the choir. We're going to get into this more, but I mean, they are mocking you, they are mocking me, they are mocking Jesus, they are mocking our faith as some antiquated barbaric religion that needs to be pushed out of society, crushed under our feet, never to be heard from again. They're mocking. "Where is the promise of His coming forever since the fathers"? In other words, "you've been saying this for 2,000 years. For ever since the Father's fell asleep, all continues just as it was from the beginning, from creation. Nothing is going to change".
Peter continues, "But do not let this one fact escape you, beloved, that one day with the Lord is like a thousand years, and a thousand years like one day. The day of the Lord will come like a thief, in which the heavens will pass away with the roar and the elements will be destroyed with intense heat, and the earth and its works will be burned up". Let me ask you, do you have the fear of the Lord living in you? You should be afraid, and I should be afraid to sin. No one wants to talk about the fear of the Lord anymore. They just want to talk about reverencing God. I'm going to tell you what, the fear of the Lord is clean and it converts the soul. And you and I should have a godly fear of standing before our Creator that keeps us from sin.
The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom. He's coming back, and He's going to destroy those that are not His. He's going to burn up the chaff with an unquenchable fire, dealing out retribution to those that do not know Him or obey the gospel of Yeshua HaMashiach. The Holy Spirit is lifting His hand, and as He does we're entering in to the time of chaos that will immediately precede Yeshua's return.
Paul is writing, "For you yourselves know full well that the day of the Lord will come just like a thief in the night. While they are saying, 'Peace and safety!' then destruction will come upon them suddenly like labor pains upon a woman with child, and they will not escape. But you, brethren, are not in darkness, that the day would overtake you... Let no one in any way deceive you, for it will not come unless the apostasy comes first, and the man of lawlessness is revealed, the son of destruction. And you know that what restrains him now, so that it is time he will be revealed. For the mystery of lawlessness is already at work; only," listen now, "he who now restrains will do so until he is taken out of the way".
What is being said is that God is going to break into His planet, He's going to destroy the mockers. Jesus's last words, "Behold, I come quickly". So many of the parables that Yeshua told were about his second coming. It's the foundational message of the Word of God that Jesus is coming back to reward to every man according to what He's done. It's the meaning of the parable about the ten virgins. It's the meaning of the parable of the owner of the home.
Over and over again, Yeshua spoke about His second coming, rewarding His faithful servants and destroying the chaff. And the scripture is telling us not to be unaware of what's going on, that what's going on is that the Holy Spirit that's restraining evil from taking over the planet in the right time is going to begin to step back to prepare the way for Jesus' return. And to prepare the way for Jesus to return, chaos has to reach a climax, sin has to run its course, and when sin reaches a crescendo, because the Holy Spirit has stepped back, and in stepping back, evil comes to the surface, the Holy Spirit will then once again break into the planet and destroy evil from the earth and establish Yeshua's throne in the world and the kingdom of the world will become the kingdom of God. He that restrains will do so until he's taken out of the way.
Satan is here destroying as many as he can, wreaking as much chaos as he can, but the Holy Spirit has been here restraining him. But as we approach the time of the return, the Holy Spirit once again is to begin to lift His hand so that evil can rise, And as we read a moment ago, Yeshua cannot return until evil rises and the Antichrist surfaces. The Antichrist cannot surface when the Holy Spirit's restraining. The Antichrist surfaces when the Holy Spirit steps back. And people have fallen into such deception that they're willing to believe in and receive an Antichrist. We're in that time.
The world right now is in a time of massive deception. And he that has been restrained is no longer being restrained. It's crazy what's going on. Who would have believed what we're facing right now? Even ten years ago we would have never believed it. Yeshua is getting ready to return. In order for order to exist in any atmosphere, in order for there to be order as opposed to chaos, there must be authority. And Satan's whole atmosphere is the rejection, the rebellion, of authority. I mean, that's what he did. He rebelled against the authority of the Creator. He came to earth and he wreaked havoc. He is a being of rebellion. Authority is part of the nature of God. Order and structure is part of the nature of God. And when He brings His kingdom to earth, order is the result. Yeshua even talked about this order, position, and role in His coming kingdom.
So Yeshua is promising here for those that obey Him. "Nevertheless," He says, "what you have, hold fast until I come. He who overcomes, and he who keeps my deeds until the end," listen to this, "to him I will give authority over the nations. And he shall rule them with the rod of iron, as the vessels of the potter are broken to pieces, as I also have received authority from my Father".
So notice that even in the kingdom to come, Jesus is giving people positions of authority, they're gonna rule. So to rebel against all authority, which is the nature of what we're experiencing today, because there's rebellion against every kind of structure, every kind of institution, and every kind of authority. Let's think, for example, of what's going on with the rebellion against the institution of our police officers.
News reporter: Tonight, with a mounting national chorus decrying police brutality against black Americans, there's a new call for deep structural reform of policing across the country. Many are now demanding departments be defunded, dismantled, or outright abolished. Today in New York Mayor, Bill de Blasio, announced a plan to defund the NYPD by shifting money in the city budget from policing to social services.
I mean, let's just take a step for balance. Hey, there's been abuse. There's no question about it. And I don't in any way want to minimize the fact that there's been police brutality and that police have, at times, practice of discrimination and prejudice and all that stuff. I want you to know I hate that. I reject that. It's terrible. I have no tolerance for it. But the answer is not to defund the police. There's never going to be a perfect institution in the earth. The church isn't perfect. Parents aren't perfect. The police isn't perfect. Our doctors aren't perfect. But to defund the police?
Do you know I have a neighbor who's been a police officer for like 15 years, he wants to retire now. He's like 50 years old or he's like 40-something years old. He used to love being a police officer. Now he says every time he has to drive through the streets of Columbus, he's got knots in his stomach and he won't look to the left, he won't look to the right. All he's going to do is look straight ahead because he knows if he looks to the left or the right, he's going to see people glaring at him with hatred. As a result of this, we're having a significant problem keeping safe because police are retiring in record numbers, and they're having a hard time finding replacements.
So at the same time, as crime is going up, police officers are leaving the force. If this isn't a result of satanic activity, what is? Here's an article from NPR, a very credible news source. "The historic call for police reform and attempts at racial reckoning have left police departments nationwide struggling to keep officers and attract new ones...' There's been a 45% increase in retirement, early retirement, 20% increase in resignations, according to NPR News. "Large cities have seen a 24% increase in killings. So at the very moment you're hoping you can put police out there to try to deal with crime, the workforce is shrinking with an unprecedented number of retirements and resignations".
The chaos is not only in the police department, it's in the workplace. Do you know that employers are being advised now by management consultants that they can no longer share with their employees what their vision is for the company or what is expected of them? Instead, owners and leaders of companies are being advised that they have to sit down with their employees to find out what their employees' vision is and what their employees think in order to earn their right to share their own vision. I can't go up to an employee, according to them, and say, Hey, this is the vision of the company. Total friction. Total chaos. Total division.
You know where there's two heads, there's division. A two-headed animal is a monster. I believe we have to cure, as best we can, social injustice and try to create an environment of equal opportunity. But listen, the guarantee of equal opportunity is not the guarantee of equal outcome. We're living in an atmosphere now where people are no longer being required to work hard or to have competency to get an equal outcome. It's just a matter of everybody now gets the same. And that, my friends, is a recipe for disaster. It's never worked in the globe. But that's where the liberal-left progressive party is pushing us. And millions and millions and millions of Americans have bought in hook, line, and sinker.
It's not just YouTubers. People across the world are saying "I quit". The Bureau of Labor Statistics released a report in January that reported 4.5 million people quitting their jobs. This global phenomenon is being dubbed the Great Resignation. And it's not just because they don't want to go back to the office. Over the last year, there's been a shift in our collective consciousness. People are starting to wise up about their value. Employees have leverage right now, and a lot of them are trying to use it to send a message. Employers are no longer holding all the cards, and if they're unwilling to adapt, their employees are simply saying sayonara.
That's the attitude. 47 million Americans have voluntarily quit their jobs in 2021, and the trend is continuing. I don't get it. I don't understand how. I really don't. It's a big mystery to me how the economy keeps spending money, how people are spending money when people aren't working. You go to the restaurant, the dining room's closed, carry out only, no staff. Can't get anybody to work on your home. You call a salesperson, they don't even call you back to try to get the job. I don't get it.
The Bible says, if a man will not work, let him not eat. Services are disrupted. The quality of people's attitude and their service is substandard. We're living in a different world. We've got pre-COVID and post-COVID. Totally different atmosphere. Are you guys experiencing it? We're talking about the essence of evil is destructive chaos. And what I'm trying to do is to drive home to you, beloved ones, the incredible amount of demonic activity that has broken into the earth. And this should wake us up that Jesus is getting ready to return, which should cause us to throw aside everything that's keeping us from being sold out to Him and live from, because we're going to face Him sooner than we think.
