Rabbi Schneider - How You Can Defeat Doubt and Confusion

Rabbi Schneider - How You Can Defeat Doubt and Confusion
TOPICS: Rabbi Schneider: Devotions, Seeds of Revelation, Doubts, Confusion

At the very end of Paul's life, he said this: "I have fought the fight and I have won the race". What fight was he fighting? It was the fight of faith. It was the fight of faith. And every single day You and I are being tested. By "tested" I mean that every day we face challenges. And God has given us a will to choose how we're going to respond to the daily challenges that we face every day.

And we can either respond in faith or we can respond in fear or in doubt. And we have the choice. We can either rise to the level of faith, seizing God's Word, quoting His Word, affirming His word, staying in faith, doing our best to abide in Jesus, reminding ourselves of the truthfulness of God's Word, focusing our mind to stay in faith, or we can yield to a powerful force of the darkness and let go of faith, let go the Word and find ourself instead in doubt and confusion, which leads to depression and destruction.

And so my challenge, beloved one, to you and I today is, will we approach every day fighting the fight of faith? You see, every time I'm faced with a challenge, I can either panic and fear, complain, speak words of bitterness, accusation, whatever. Or what I can say is:

Father God, thank you. Thank you that you're using everything in my life to bring me up to the next level in You. So, Father, I thank you for this challenge. As James and Peter taught us that we should rejoice when we encounter various trials because the trials test our faith, then they bring us up to the next level and bring us into a state of maturity and wholeness in you. So Father God..."

We want to say together, beloved one. You and I, let's say together in our heart:

Father God, forgive me for allowing myself to yield to darkness when I face difficult challenges. Today, I want to align myself with truth and with You. You said I can do all things through Christ that strengthen me, that You Cause everything to work together for good in my life. So, Father, I want to tell you right now that I love you, and by your help, I'm going to do my best to stay in faith every day, meeting challenges armed with your Word and faith and confidence in Yeshua's goodness. Amen.
